Girl Scout Adventure Day

Muscogee- Columbus Rotary played a pivotal role in the Girl Scout Adventure Day at Woodruff Park, a community recruitment event. We actively engaged participants by providing and playing yard games, enhancing the event's interactive atmosphere. We provided Girl Scout vests from Daisy to Ambassador, showcasing the progression within Girl Scouting. The attendees also had the opportunity for international cultural exchange through two GRSP students from Scotland and Brazil. Beyond these activities, Rotary provided essential logistical support, assisting with event planning, setup, and takedown, contributing significantly to the event's overall success and smooth execution. Additionally, we provided informational materials about Rotary International and engaged in discussions about our organization, resulting in one new member joining the Muscogee- Columbus Rotary Club.

Partner Involvement
Girl Scouts of Historic Georgia took the lead in organizing and hosting Girl Scout Adventure Day, a crucial recruitment event aimed at showcasing the diverse opportunities and experiences available to girls and potential volunteers. As the host, they were responsible for the overall vision, planning, and execution of the event, creating a welcoming and engaging environment. Their efforts resulted in a highly successful day, attracting over 800 attendees and directly leading to the on-site enrollment of 100 new Girl Scouts, demonstrating the effectiveness of their recruitment strategies and the appeal of the Girl Scout program.
