For over three years, the Muscogee- Columbus Rotary has been empowering local children through our 'Fill the Trunk' service project with Big Brothers Big Sisters. We've collected and distributed backpacks and essential school supplies, directly supporting underprivileged students in our community and setting them up for academic success. This year, we collected over 30 backpacks, 1,000 pencils, and multiple other supplies.
On July 27, 2024, the Muscogee- Columbus Rotary Club volunteered at the Parking Lot Praise Christian Music Festival and Parade, an independent event brought to the community by timothygabriel and Lion and Lamb Music Group. We managed vendor logistics and assisted at the merchandise table during the festival at Woodruff Riverfront Park, which featured artists like Tedashii and Jamie-Grace, along with speakers, food trucks, and community activities, following the morning's Christian parade on Broadway."
